Tracking the source of contamination of fresh food could become quicker and easier thanks to work done at Sandia National Laboratory. The research, published in the International Journal of Critical Infrastructures, demonstrates how developing a probability map of the food supply network using a stochastic network representation might shorten the time it takes to track down contaminated food sources.
Probability maps help sniff out food contamination.
