Science Meets Fiction at Technovelgy.com

I got a nice email from Bill Christensen requesting a link to his new website Technovelgy.com, so here it is! The site is based on a clever idea: highlighting and discussing fictional technology that doesn’t really exist…yet. The motto of the site is “Where Science Meets Fiction.” From the homepage: “Find hundreds of extraordinary inventions by some of the world’s most creative minds – science fiction authors. Engineers and scientists should note that science fiction writers explore the use of tomorrow’s technology in a social context; see how people use similar technology – before you build it. More than a century separates the writers showcased on the site…”

So good luck, Bill, on your nice site that explores a little bit different slant than what is covered here on SciScoop. All of the cutting-edge stuff for tomorrow explored here on SciScoop started out as a flash of imagination yesterday…
