Surely, overheating scenario is exactly what the Bible predicts, it’s just couched in slightly different terms to Gore’s movie?
According to the Seattle PI, Federal Way schools this week placed a moratorium on the showing of the Gore documentary, in what has to be described as an echo of the ban on teaching evolution in Kansas, where rational thought is smothered with baloney.
It seems that the push came from just this one parent, who supports the teaching of creationism and opposes sex education complained about the film.
School Board member David Larson who proposed the moratorium said, “Somebody could say you’re killing free speech, and my retort to them would be we’re encouraging free speech.”
How does that work exactly. You ban a movie (which is the equivalent of book-burning) and so prevent the students getting to learn the Gore side of the argument.
Next thing they’ll be telling us that there’ll be another flood and dragons coming out of the sea….oh.
